SEATTLE, WASHINGTON JULY 19-20, 2008
Celebrate and commemorate the 35th Anniversary of Bruce Lee’s passing. The event in Seattle will have many exciting facets. There will be seminars, the first ever JKD Instructor Summit, a museum display of memorabilia, an unveiling of the initial plans for our Bruce Lee Museum Project, a screening of Enter the Dragon, a graveside memorial, and a celebration banquet!
JKD Instructor Summit
For our Seattle Event we invite JKD instructors from all lines and walks of life to come together in one place for a historic gathering. This will be an unprecedented opportunity for members of our JKD community to come together and have open discussions about JKD, the BLF’s take on the preservation of JKD, legal issues involving JKD, building bridges in the JKD Community, and much more. This event will be a very important one and, depending on the response and the outcome, it could direct the course of the BLF and the way it preserves JKD. Come be heard or come and listen. Either way, we invite instructors from all JKD groups to attend and participate!
Bruce Lee Museum
The BLF intends to put on a wonderful exhibit to commemorate the 35th anniversary and unveil the initial plans for our goal of building the Bruce Lee Museum in Seattle, WA. Come see rare images and memorabilia and attend the unveiling of our most ambitious and exciting project!
Graveside Memorial and Celebration Banquet
Come pay your respects along with Bruce Lee’s family, friends and students at the Lakeview Cemetery in Seattle. A bus will pick up participants and bring them to the cemetery where we will pay our respects with a short but special ceremony to honor Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee. After the memorial, the buses will take us for a Chinese style banquet to celebrate the dynamic lives of these two amazing men. We hope you will join us as we honor and celebrate their spirits!
Enter the Dragon
Come see a private screening of Enter the Dragon, also celebrating its 35th anniversary! See the movie that introduced the world to Bruce Lee with special introductions and question and answers by very special guests. It will be a night to be remembered!

Information on sign ups, costs, and accommodations will be available in a few weeks but mark your calendars now for the weekend of July 19 and 20, 2008 in Seattle!
